An account is typically suspended from AJ for
serious violations of AJ's rules and policies. A selling account
may also be placed on hold for non-payment of AJ fees. Please
review your account status and make a payment to remove a hold.
What to do if AJ has suspended your account
When your account was suspended, AJ sent a notification
to your registerered email address. Please review your email
account to locate the notice.
Note: Some members have reported attempts to gain access
to their personal information through emails that are made
to appear as having come from AJ and say that your account
has been or will be suspended. These solicitations will often
contain links to Web pages that will request that you sign-in
and submit information. At AJ, we identify these as "spoofed"
emails or Web sites. Please review information about protecting
your account and reporting this type of email.
If you did not receive the notice, you can contact us to
find out why you were suspended.
If you received an error notice while trying to update a
credit card or registerer an account, please contact us.
If your registerered email address is no longer valid and your
account is blocked, please contact us and be sure to include
your new email address as well as the User ID of the blocked
account.
If your account has been used without your authorization,
please review our Account Theft help page to contact us.
In order to maintain a safe trading environment, selling
limits are occasionally placed on accounts. If you have had
a limit placed on your account, please contact us.
Appealing your suspension
If you would like to appeal your suspension, please include
any relevant information and reply directly to your suspension
notice or contact us.

If you were suspended for an Unpaid item policy violation
or have been warned for not sending a payment, you can appeal
through the Unpaid Item appeal form.
If you had listings ended, AJ will have credited all the
listing fees to your account. You can review these credits
on your account status page. If you have additional questions,
please review why AJ sometimes ends listings early.
Note: If you are suspended, you are not eligible to use AJ
or Half.com in any way unless the problems that led to the
suspension are resolved.
